Less than a day before the official announcement, the alleged specs of the Apple iPhone 6 leaked out. The information was posted online by China Mobile – the largest wireless carrier in the world.

Curiously, the leaked specs of the hotly anticipated smartphone differ from past leaks. Purportedly, iPhone 6 will feature an Apple A8 chipset with quad-core CPU and 4.7” display with the rather unimpressive resolution of 1134 x 750 pixels, covered by sapphire glass.
According to China Mobile’s sign-up page, the iPhone 6 will pack an 8MP main camera and a 2.1MP front-facing unit. The device will be available in versions with 16, 32, 64, and 128GB of built-in memory.
Physical measures of the iPhone 6 are listed to be 138mm x 67mm x 7mm. Curiously, the Chinese carrier lists the device as being water and dust resistant.
China Mobile has listed only the specs of the 4.7” iPhone 6 model. Information on the 5.5” model is not displayed.

Done with MacRumors, the trolls have won
So it's exactly two pixels shorter and 110 pixels wider? Based on the leaks, I'm not buying it.

Imagine if a US or European carrier posted such nonsense - they would be absolutely roasted on social media and in the press, whether they were right or wrong...

They ARE the largest carrier worldwide, so pretty much they can do what they want... except if in cooperation with Apple they posted a fake info.

They should have let with the 'water resistant' bit. I would have stopped reading there and then.

But with only 1GB of RAM I can't have 12 pages of porn open in Safari without the tabs reloading!!!

    Talk about a deal killer!

Nothing worse than being in mom's basement and dealing with THAT!!!

(I'll still buy it, of course, but I have to bitch about it anyway because... well...)

China Mobile is already advertising the Apple iPhone 6 in its two varieties with a 4.7" and 5.5" display. A tipster sent us a photo of a carrier banner placed on a street in China.
The banner ad mentions pricing, but it's for the carrier's iPhone 6 tariff and not the device itself. However, the 4.7" iPhone 6 pricing in Russia is tipped to be about $810 (RUB 29,990), while the 5.5" model will retail for approximately $945 (RUB 34,990). We assume those will be for the entry level storage option, which would be 16GB. The 128GB version of the 5.5" iPhone 6 is suggested to be in the $1215 - $1350 range (RUB 45000 - RUB 50000).

I hope it will have "only" 8MP.
On a phone is better to have a bigger sensor and there is no need to have too many MP.
Besides, they'll need to put some goodies in iPhone 6S next year, so a better camera could be delayed this time.

We've seen parts with rubber grommets. Water resistant is in line with leaked parts.

Quad-core is unnecessary, Apple has more than enough cpu power even if they just regurgitated the A7 from last year. But probable if Apple still has some hang up on maintain near doubling cpu performance again this year. They are certainly technically capable of it.

just to clarify - it's the exact pricing of iPhone 5S. 16GB is 29990 in the official Apple Store, with 5000 price increase for every storage upgrade. So top tier price for 5.5" would be 44990 if 32GB storage is omitted or made default, and 49990 if it goes like the iPad now
