Some clarifications

Seems like Macrumors is hostile to AppleTurns lately, I guess ever since they claimed they were the only ones to predict a superdrive before finding out Macrumors did it.
Hey, folks, Jack from AtAT here. I probably won't be hanging around much (heck, I don't even have time to post in the AtAT Forums), but I thought I should duck in just to clear up a couple of things.
1) Yes, the Amd vs. AMD thing was a gag. I've been saying forever that x86-based Macs just aren't going to happen unless the non-Apple PowerPC partners get vaporized by invading alien hordes. I know what amd is; heck, I've used UNIX for quite a bit longer than I've used Macs. (Although I'll admit that I haven't had to mess with amd for maybe seven or eight years, now, and even when I did, I never had all that much luck.)
Unfortunately, the irony was apparently WAY too subtle (must be losing my touch), which is why I'm doing a follow-up in today's scene, which will probably go out at maybe 5 AM EST.
2) About that "first to predict PowerBooks with SuperDrives" thing-- what I actually said was that "the entire rumor community" thought otherwise, which was meant to be an exaggeration, but even so, I was definitely NOT aware that MacRumors had reiterated the SuperDrive prediction just days before. And when I was told, I did a whole scene publicly apologizing to MacRumors for the oversight:
Did We Miss Anyone Else? (11/6/02)

Indeed, I was kinda hoping to see the apology mentioned on MacRumors, but hey, no biggie.
Hope that's clearer. 'Kay?
And no, AtAT is not a rumors site. ;-)
