OJ is sitting down for his parole board hearing after serving almost 10 years for various charges relating to him trying to get his memorabilia back from guys he claimed stole it from him. Let's see if he goes free or heads back to the slammer....

His is a tragic story - and a dire warning - of someone who had everything.

Why are we even talking about him? He can go free or stay in prison, I just don't care. Doesn't anyone else feel the same?

I'm not listening - but apparently there was a lot of time spent on OJ needing to apologize for self gratification.

This could take a while. They asked him one simple question and he's been rambling for ten minutes.

BTW, when Comey got fired, some news station sent a helicopter to follow his car as it drove to the airport, and the resulting TV feed was strongly reminiscent of the OJ car chase. The ending was a lot different, however. Comey got out of his car at the airport, and took the time to shake hands with each and every one of the local officers who had escorted his car, before getting on his plane. I thought it was a very classy gesture.

You can blame that on crappy prosecution and him having enough money to pay for a legal defense dream team.

I don't think Ferman planted the glove. Ferman was an idiot for lying under oath but I don't believe he went so far to plant anything. Ever accidently wash a leather glove? It shrinks. Doesn't help to get it to fit when OJ stopped taking his medications and the effect of not taking them was increased water being stored(hands swelled) and then trying to put them on with another set of gloves(medical type).

He got away with murder but karma is a b.....and he's been paying the last 9 years where he belongs. If he goes free the only solice is that he's an old man and hopefully will die soon after.

After watching the hearing, it didn't surprise me that he was granted parole.
Let's face it, he was a model prisoner and followed all the rules.
Seriously, when your victim shows up at your hearing and is on YOUR side, they had no choice but to grant him parole.
They would have had a lot of explaining to do if they didn't.

The hearing is not allowed to use prior behavior (before the crime he was convicted of) into their decision making process.
We all know he killed his ex-wife and and Ron Goldman, but sloppy prosecution and a high dollar defense got him off.
So legally they cannot use that against him.

My guess is he will violate his terms of release and be back in prison within a year... two tops.

Listening to him ramble on I wonder if he showed remorse. He still had that same smug look on his face. I knew he would get out but I don't know if he ever showed real regret and even knows if he thinks he did anything wrong.

I think someone will take him out feeling that he hasn't paid enough for his crimes.
