This was wonderful. Truly glorious. Pam Bondi is the same women that dropped Trump's fraudulent "University" case after he donated to her election campaign. http://bigstory.ap.org/article/e16a...ida-ag-asked-trump-donation-nixing-fraud-case

About time someone started dropping the hammer on her for the crap she pulls. She's no friend to the gay community. She has fought gays being equal for years. She has been part of the problem, and now much like an abulance chaser, runs to the crime scene pretending to be on the side of gay people now.

Congratulations Pam Bondi, for saying to Anderson that you changed the photo on your webpage to rainbow hands, but where were you all the those years? Oh wait...where are you NOW? Because it turns out this claim by her was yet another phoney made up lie!! Unfreaking believable.

Truly horrible women. It's time for all these cockroaches to be rooted out and run out of office.

Good. Call out all the hypocrites who want to jump on the bandwagon to score political points.

Anderson Cooper is truly a fabulous journalist. Watching him reading those 49 names was brutal. :(

Nice post. This strikes me similar to all the Muhammad Ali "tributes"

Where do people think a mid 20s Muhammad Ali would stand in black lives matter? Or orangutans "ban all Muslim" proposal? He'd be hated. Once he lost the ability to talk, people just wanted to talk for him.

What, we are required to say positive things about gays just because they are gay? Is that the new standard?

No, just don't call yourself a "champion of LGBT Americans," when you're the exact opposite.

That's what Anderson should have said.

No. You're expected to not pretend you like gays after a tragedy when you hated them before. Also expected to not lie about something like a website which is easily looked at and verified to be false right after you say it!

Oh...and also expected not to take money from someone and then drop a case against them right after.

So having compassion over a tragedy = hipocrisy because they disagreed with you before? If you showed X passion towards those you heavily disagree with fir one reason or another would you be hipocrites?

It's not about that. She referred to herself as a champion of gay rights and said that her nasty response to the federal courts overturning Florida's gay marriage ban before the SCOTUS ruling was just a legal strategy to get it to SCOTUS quicker. BS.

There is apparently an expectation that a politician be fully in the tank, all the time.

A politician can disfavor the radical gay element and possess sentiment for deaths of Americans at the same time.

This is polarization for political points.

Sounds like Obama and Hillary who were against gay marriage and have now "evolved" for it.

This is always brought up and I agree - there was a time when they were both against it. And Hillary was certainly taken to task by gay rights groups the first time she tried to win the nomination.

That said, I honestly don't care at this point if they are still against it. Their actions have spoken much louder than words, especially where President Obama is concerned. His administration has done more for gay rights in the last 8 years than was done in the last 8 decades.

So, honestly, even if they don't agree with it, at least they are able to set aside biases to be able to do the right thing. If that's not "evolving" what is?

It's sure as hell a lot better than just offering up thoughts and prayers and then voting against gay rights, is it not?

Uh....ALL POLITICICANS evolved on gay marriage at some point. There weren't people in 1960 calling for it!

However, I will take the ones who have evolved vs. the Neanderthals who are still dragging their knuckles on this issue even to this day.

And I will take them over fakes like Pam Bondi and Rick Scott.
