While a lot of people think the Trump administration should not discredit the Intel community it maybe warranted. Not exactly sure in what capacity he was not truthful. But considering how many high profile cases he's had his hands in we may need to relook at them.

He retires in three days. This is just petty Trump crap to deny McCabe's pension.

Trump is a tiny little man.

Um, Trump can't fire McCabe. Sessions can. Recommendation is coming from within FBI. The FBI doesn't just fire someone who has 22 years for nothing, unless they did something very wrong.

They do if they want to send a message to everyone else ready to testify against them.

In Moscow they get killed at the door of their building, but that wouldn’t go down well in the West.

McCabe is terminated effective immediately. Sunday was his scheduled retirement date.

I think you need to familiarize yourself with McCabe and how this came about.

I would bet he will have a pretty good court case to get his full pension. It is quite Petty of Trump to fire him at the last minute to try to deny it to him.

Sessions, another big man did the deed under pressure from Our National Disgrace.

He gunned an unarmed child seated alone in a park on a Saturday afternoon?

I’ve said there’s something wrong with this FBI leadership including Comey and McCabe. They have been despicable and suspect this is only one piece of what’s going to come to light....much to the dismay of many here. Strzok is next. The Clinton investigation is in question due to these individuals as well as Flynn’s investigation and plea. Disgusting.

Can you dumb that down because I don’t understand what you’re trying to say.

Looks like he leaked information which is a crime. With leaks and unmasking so which is a felony. Want to keep your retirement, don't leak classified info. Once we see the IG report will see the reasons behind it in more detail.

Horowitz is only at the tip of the ice berg. He is looking at how the FBI has handled previous cases. With the FISA warrents, leaks and unmasking so as well as the email scandal.

It's such a vindictive move and sadly just the way he operates. Like when Trump said to "ask his wife how it feels to be a loser" to him. An appropriate response may have been something like "probably better than Melania felt knowing you were pounding a porn star while she sat at home with your new baby" but no, he kept it classy and just said "OK, sir".

How about the FBI internal investigation lead by an Obama appointee? Or the OIG report lead by an Obama appointee?

How about quoting it –in context– instead of vaguely referring to reports or articles?

At least be honest: Trump is having Sessions fire McCabe as retaliation, because he's starting to feel the heat from his actions.

Also, how about admitting that you have treated politics like a football game or a reality show, and voted for someone who's the epitome of incompetence and entitlement and is on his way to deconstructing your country?

Sure, if you want. Pay particular attention to any mention of the IG and OPR. Obviously, burying one’s head in CNN didn’t do anyone any favors.

Whether McCabe is innocent of guilty of not being candid under oath (yet to be determined independently) the timing of this reeks of Trump stink. Trump’s criticism of McCabe? A Friend of Comey. Both of these guys are/were Republicans. Comey has since decided the GOP is just a bit to insane for him. Both of them represent direct threats to Trump in any legal proceeding, and the firing is designed to undermine McCabe’s witness status.

Andrew McCabe, a Target of Trump’s F.B.I. Scorn, Is Fired Over Candor Questions
    https://www.nytimes.com/2018/03/16/us/politics/andrew-mccabe-fbi-fired.html

Mr. McCabe was among the first at the F.B.I. to scrutinize possible Trump campaign ties to Russia. And he is a potential witness to the question of whether Mr. Trump tried to obstruct justice. Mr. Trump has taunted Mr. McCabe both publicly and privately, and Republican allies have cast him as the center of a “deep state” effort to undermine the Trump presidency.

As a witness, Mr. McCabe would be in a position to corroborate the testimony of the former F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, who kept contemporaneous notes on his conversations with Mr. Trump. Mr. Comey said Mr. Trump prodded him to publicly exonerate the president on the question of Russian collusion and encouraged him to shut down an investigation into his national security adviser.

In a statement released by his lawyers, Mr. McCabe said his firing was part of Mr. Trump’s “ongoing war on the F.B.I.” and Robert S. Mueller III, the special counsel. He said he answered questions truthfully in the internal investigation and contacted investigators to correct the record when he believed they misunderstood him.

“I am being singled out and treated this way because of the role I played, the actions I took and the events I witnessed in the aftermath of the firing of James Comey,” he said.

Trump can do this all he likes, he's still guilty as sin and will hopefully die in prison.
