Man - I just can't like the DS. I 'f-wording' hate that thing. It's such a gimmick / mapscreen. The only games that scream 'buy me' are 'Advance Wars 3' and possible 'Castlevani: Gimmick'.

    Stupid pen...curse you...

And why can't I have a jet black system? Curses.

Does anybody else just wish they had a 'GBA 2.0' with an analog stick?

Anyway, I never understood 'Animal Crossing'.

My friend is addicted to it, and won't stop playing it. When I asked him about it - the game's mystery exceeded itself with my increased knowledge. The conversation went something like this:

'So, what do you do? Just random 's-word'?'

'Yeah. You just make a house. Walk know...'

'So, it's kind of like - life - the cute Nintendo version?'

'Soooooo, why play it? Why not just, you know, live life?'

'Because this is the cute Nintendo version of life.'

    'Can you kill people?'

    'That's gay.'

Seriously, do you just cut down trees, fish, make clothes and talk to neighbors, etc.? Is that all that game is?!

This game is driving me nuts. I don't get it. I guess I'll just have to play it for it to make any sense...

I'm afraid to play it. It's going to suck me into it's cute little cult world. I'm going to be addicted.

    Must - not - play.

This is the one thing that I find disappointing about Animal Crossing DS:
Its a shame. It would be nice if we could see some old school NES games IN Animal Crossing DS. Kid Icarus, Metriod, etc. etc. Oh well, Im sure it will be a cool game none the less.

This game is for sure going to be fun. It will be very interesting to see how nintendo implements the online play....

Animal Crossing DS is on my shopping list. Finally some worthwhile games coming out for the DS. Nintendogs, Advance Wars, and Animal Crossing will keep my wife and I plenty busy.

I read somewhere, it was an interview i think, that online play will be quite simple. if you go to your friends house (who say, lives on the opposite side of the world) the time on your system will change to theirs and you'll be able to interact with each other. play games and stuff. Its just meeting people that im a little curious about! i mean will there be like a message board on the town wall, that you look at and think "oh i'd like to visit them", hope on the train and go down there?

i think taking out NES games is OK with this, the online side of things will be so massive.
