Cyberwarfare is NSA's bailiwick. Maybe if they didn't waste resources spying on Americans, they could conduct some ops against ISIS.

ISIS is not the target, Assad is.

So our national strategy is to remove the secular dictator of an Islamist-infested nation when we have zero idea on who could replace him. Because Iraq and Libya were so successful, right? Obama & Kerry are the greatest foreign policy team since Abbot & Costello.

Syria is not an "Islamist-infested nation", but it will be once Obama removes Assad and lets the Muslim brotherhood take over like they did Libya.

Looks pretty infested to me. However, according to Obama ISIS is "contained" so we should't worry...

    "Anonymous declares war on ISIS"

It's encouraging that someone besides France sees the light.

I don't know if most are competent. They get lucky with a bunch of shared tools available on TOR/Onion sites, while using those tools on businesses that are poor in information security. While they are highly connected with many tools the average Anonymous person is not some kind of superhero or super villain.

I think they attack as many sites as they can with the shared tools and if they find something good they post it... you will never see them post how many failures they had.

Exactly. Anonymous posted the supposed emails of American politicians who are allegedly KKK members despite every email address having a .ru domain. That makes me questions their actual skill and intelligence level. I suspect some of them are script kiddies with delusions of grandeur.

Maybe Anonymous' threats aren't such a bad idea. At least we get a bit of comic relief from this story...

Man, if that isn't reminiscent of the spoof cloak and dagger seen in the 60's flick "Our Man Flint", I don't know what is.

    That's a classic. You should check-out "The President's Analyst."

James Coburn... one of my favorites from my youth.

BTW, can you (without cheating via IMDB) name the seven actors who made up The Magnificent Seven?

Well, as long as we're talking West German actors, Christine Kaufman was alway a babe.
