Just ordered another 2GB of RAM from Crucial for just over $200.00 with tax and shipping. This will bring me up 5 GB, the original 1 GB that came with the MacPro, and the 2GB, also from Crucial, that I installed when I first got my MacPro. Out of curiousity I looked back to see what I had paid for that memory, which I bought last September. $400.00:eek: , what was I thinking :apple: . I remember feeling lucky at the time because just after I bought that RAM Crucial raised its prices.

lol wow the cost of your ram is more than half the cost of my macbook. But Fry's did have a 2GB stick of ram for about $80 the other day.

Different type of memory. One of the downsides to the MacPro is the memory that it requires is much more costly then the memory required by the macbook/mbp/imac.
