The both campaigns agreed to have another debate before the cali primaries but Mrs Bill Clinton reneged on yet another promise.

This makes no sense since this debate would give her the opportunity to get her positions across. If she actually had any positions ...

Meanwhile camp Bernie came up with an awesome campaign slogan.

At this point I have to seriously suspect that they are letting Donnie win on purpose.

That or their campaign advisors are stoned monkeys.

The DNC would rather 4 years of Trump than give up the elite control of the party. That's obvious.

They'd rather go down in flames with Hillary than let Bernie come in and blow up their little good old boys club.

I am honestly starting to get a bad feeling about this o_O

As much as I believe that #crookedhillary is a despicable human being - I do know that she is crafty, connected and very, very capable.

But she is doing everything wrong and is basically handing the presidency to the Trumpster.
I am starting to get this eerie feeling that she is doing this on purpose.

I'd much rather Bernie gets nominated. At least he has real positions and a clean record.

I can't believe she is being let off the hook just because it's in her favour at the moment. A couple of months ago she said she'd have X-number more debates, including the one in May. In 2008, she said a candidate should be willing to debate "anytime, anywhere".

The May debate is even still listed on the DNC website.

Why debate, when she can speak at Goldberg Sucks and pull down a few hundred thousand for attendees to hear Hillary's fascinating pearls of wisdom.

Coughing goes over big for the Democrats, who all applaud during Hillary's coughing fits. Probably because she's making the most sense at that time.

She is harming her own campaign.

She can't be seriously that stupid.

Okay, that was actually a pretty good comeback. I'll give you props for that one.

Why do people want another debate? Hillary and Bernie have been debating each other for months and they've both laid out their platforms as much as possible to the point where every debate sounds exactly the same. The Republican's stopped debating a long while ago.

Maybe if Bernie would offer her a speaking fee...

    ...plus we'd get a transcript.

This is probably because Bernie and Hillary are fighting a much closer race than the Republicans, who basically have Trump in the lead, with Kasich and Rubio way off in the distance.

The math does favor her at the moment, but a good debate from Bernie could pull things in for a photo finish.

Yes. Because it's such an effective slogan.

It doesn't promote Trump at all :p

Somebody should start a gofundme page.

If we put out 500k as bait she might actually show up.

I'd have to disagree. Prior to his dropping out, I'd say Cruz was fighting a much closer race with Trump than Bernie is with Hillary. The reality is that Bernie is off in the distance while Hillary has one foot over the finish line.

Afraid? No. What is there to be afraid of? It's not like she hasn't debated him numerous times before. But at what point does it become a waste of time and resources? I get that Bernie wants the free advertising, being that his campaign is almost out of money and had to lay off staff even, but that isn't a good enough reason to debate. I really do not know what could be said by either one of them that has not already been covered.

Now....all of that being said, if there was an actual agreement in writing (not just something said offhand to some press person) and if the last two debates were really and truly a package deal, then I think the commitment should be honored. But I have seen no proof yet indicating that is actually the case. But if that is the case than yes. Although it still wouldn't make the debate any less pointless.

Odd. Hillary is ducking Sanders yet when Trump ducked debates, he was being a smart candidate.

When Trump "ducked" a debate, it was because he was so comfortably far in the lead that he could crack the whip over the media, costing them ratings dollars, and showing how contemptuous he was of the competition. He readily returned to do more debates later.

Hillary is afraid of being made to look like a Tool Of The Monied Powers, so she's wimping out. And everybody seeing her do it knows why.
