I came into this thread expecting something about anti-gravity.

    ...I'm so disappointed. :(

No surprise but I know Jody Hice. He's a preacher in Loganville and has his campaign office on Broad Street in Monroe. My impression of him has always been of an intelligent man with his head on straight. Personally, I think he's a good man. I differ on many political ideas from him but in a race with Ken Dious, Hice is going to win by a landslide in GA-10. This won't even be a close race.

    Alright, will change it. ;)

It's a common thing I read in forums, sadly, when there's no other retort. "You're being bigoted against my bigotry!" or some crap.

    Probably.

For a second, thought you meant this thread.

Jody Hice is going to win the seat. As was once said, the only way he'll lose is if he gets caught with a dead girl in his bed or a live boy. The good thing about our House of Representatives is that we have people who are far left, we have people that are far right. We have people in the middle. We know, and he knows, that his bill will go nowhere but he'll feel good for having thrown it out there.

There is a House Member, Rep. José Serrano (D-NY-15) who introduced a bill to do away with term limits for the President. A position that I support, by the way. He knows that his bill is going nowhere but he believes in it so he throws it out there. He has thrown this out in every session since getting elected to the House in 1990. (I know he's only been in the NY-15 since 2013 but he was in the NY-16 prior to that and the NY-18 prior to that. Just some redistricting.)

Isn't this the quack who said a citizen should have any weapon that the U.S. military has?

Why does that not surprise me that you know a xenophobic bigot and think he has his head on straight?

Here's a few things your good man with his head on straight has said…

So? That's not what we're discussing. We're discussing how you think this ignorant, xenophobic bigot is intelligent and has his head on straight. So tell us Southern Dad, which of the 10 statements of his I quoted do you feel are intelligent and representative of one with a good head on his shoulders?

Which is more of an indictment of those voting for him than anything else.

You don't have to agree with everything a person says. Hank Johnson, in my opinion is a very intelligent man. I don't however think Guam will tip over. Guess what, I agree with little that Barack Obama says... I do think he's an intelligent and good man.

Of course you don't. Which of the 10 do you agree with? It's a simple question, why are you avoiding it?

WTF do Hank Johnson and Barack Obama have to do with this?

Am I required to agree or disagree with any of them? He's entitled to his opinions even if they don't agree with mine. I disagree with many politicians on both sides of the aisle. That doesn't mean that they aren't intelligent individuals or good people.

There is a difference between a gaff and being this level of ignorant.
