If it was happening, it would’ve been leaked by now, one thing with apple, they don’t up the storage and ram every year, they’re a bit tight when it comes to that. 😂

6gb ram is fine at the moment, not having any issues with my 12 pro max.

I have the 11 Pro Max I'm still over flowed with confidence at how powerful it is

What a treat it would be if Apple hands out 8GB of ram in the 13 pro max 😅

Stop dreaming iPhone can do multitasking, no matter how big that screen is and how reliant you are on the said device. Use an iPad or a computer for proper multitasking.

8GB of RAM is for multitasking, which iOS doesn’t support fully like a desktop OS. Even 4GB on iPhone XS Max I can’t do any multitasking. Switch in and switch out, bam, app reloads, whereas iPad Pro 2018 can.

But but but, android users laugh at us because we can’t put 2 apps on one small screen. 😂

Plz Apple put 8gb of ram on iPhone 13 pro max!!!
Only if some new AI-algorithm requires it for better scanning and reporting of your pictures :p

Seriously, I only think they will, if some new technology requires it, like pro-raw did.

I feel future-proof with 6GB in my 12 Pro, but it was also one of the deciding factors for me to choose the pro over the non pro. Actually I don't see the need for 8gb yet, because apps reload for other reasons (like updates, reboot, chrashes, hangs etc.) before I run out of memory.

Getting ram is expensive! It’s always been.

I fixed it for you :)

But more seriously, not happening. Apple's always been cheap on memory. It's always been a serious problem on the Mac and I will let PC lovers laugh at this (except maybe since it turned into Apple Silicon, they're still being cheap on the RAM but it's less of a problem).
But on the iPhone, if you compare an iPhone with 4GB of RAM with an Android with 12GB of RAM, you won't notice that much of a difference in your day to day experience.

No 8GB ram no indisplay fingerprint sensor :( i testet some new android phones with display fingerprint sensror, wow is so fast and cool to use. but i cant decide to switch most android devices are too big in my opinion. I am a one hand user and this will maybe never change.

Serious question: why? What do you need 8 gigs of RAM for other than to tell people you have 8 gigs of RAM?

I don’t think I’ve seen too many instances of leaks this far in advance about RAM. Honestly, we usually don’t know about RAM until right before or after the official announcement of the product. And then it’s confirmed with a teardown.

Apple needs to stop being so secretive about ram and battery capacity, just about every other company mentions exactly how much ram and battery capacity customers get during events, wont hurt to put a specs section in settings as well. 🤦‍♂️

Agree, it's a bit unfair they put 4GB on the regular 12 and 6GB on the pro's without mentioning it
