Any clue? (Discoloration)

Since my Macbook Pro is white, can it become black where I put my hands. I mean beside your touchpad. of course if you use it for 2 or 3 years?

Btw, that must be a MacBook (not Pro) if it is white and not aluminium.

To answer your question: YES, the Aluminum palm rests will eventually discolor on the MBP. This depends on skin oils and stuff like that. Many folks (including myself) put a palm guard on our laptops to prevent this.

Just give it a wipe. Many people use iKlear to clean the whole unit.
