Any ideas what this spot is at the top of my Apple Watch Series 4 display?

The edges of the touch screen are mostly unresponsive. Restarting it fixes that temporarily. But I noticed this weird rainbowish spot at the top of the screen. Any ideas?

Looks weird. I e never seen anything like it. I would call Apple and possibly get them to replace it. Could be a problem with the display

Water damage. That’s easily the area that will be affected the most, where it’s on the outside edges of the display, and that will only continue to spread, as OLED is very sensitive to any type of water exposure/moisture.

How did the glass get so scratched up? I’d take it to apple you may be lucky and they’ll replace it.

Looks like delamination. The OLED display panel is separating from the cover glass.

Manufacturing defect, IMHO.
