I heard there are a lot of privacy concerns with Facebook apps being able to access all your personal information. Are there the same privacy concerns with iPhone apps? Can iPhone apps access everything else on your phone, like contacts, email addresses, recent calls, text messages, browser history, etc?

I'm not sure if iPhone apps are able to access everything on the device, but a list of the contacts definitely can be. There was a recent event with an app called Aurora Feint that was making a list of some people's contacts and sending it to their server for a buddy feature in the game. So short answer, yes there are some privacy concerns.
