I'm looking for a usb-c powered charging stand for iPhone / Watch / Airpods. The Belkin and Mophie ones require a full AC power adapter, and I'd prefer charging over usb-c instead of proprietary AC adapter.

Bonus if the stand has Magsafe..

Does anyone know of any? Tried searching, and haven't really come across any good ones.

So it's not an AC adapter itself that's the issue but the fact that it's an AC adapter that doesn't connect to the stand via a USB-C cable, correct? I mean, I'm assuming there would need to be a power brick (AC adapter) in order have enough power to charge three devices at once, especially at any decent speed. But then again, I'm not sure why you would care how the AC adapter connects to the stand, so maybe I'm not getting you here.

Agreed, the reason the AC adapters are used is the power supply tends to be much higher and specifically tuned for charging that many devices at once. For something that isn't design to move and is quite literally tethered to a wall, there's no benefit to having a USB-C connection.

You'd be trading an AC adapter and a small wall plug, for a larger wall plug, so what's the benefit?
