For my early Mac mini 2018 I had an AKiTiO Node Titan eGPU-box (TB3).
Now I upgraded to a Studio M4 max.

I know that the Studio do not support eGPUSs, but are there any reasonable use I can have of it?

Storage is not an alternative since I am covered by faster TB4 and TB5 solutions.
I think you may put some highend Pro Tool cards in it, but other than that?

Thanks for the non-replies!
Guess that was what I expected - no use in my current setup.

I have a PCIe case with an OWC 4x NVMe card. So you can have 4 NVMe M.2 SSDs where every M.2 supports up to ~3000 MB/s.
Yes I see that one, but I have already set up the storage. one fast 24 TB (new OWC 4M2 TB4), 3 disk based backups: one 24TB raid1 and two 24 TB single disk that I alternate on and off site. That PCI case have a pretty large footprint compared to other storage solutions I have, without any particular advantage.

I have a 2 Highpoint 4x NVME x16 cards in eGPU chassis in including the Akitio Node Titan and Sonnet 650. I have a one more Sonnet 650 for a BlackMagic QUAD HDMI Capture card. The chipset in the Titan is the most modern and has a slight increase in performance.
