hi guys,

I just bought a 32 GB factory unlocked iPhone from http://www.hamzatech.com and am now running it on t-mobile. I've got the internet up and running but facetime doesn't seem to be working. has anyone been able to get facetime up and running on the t-mobile network? t-mobile's tech support guys are clueless and Apple's guy wasn't any better.

From what I understand... unless it has changed recently. FaceTime does not work if you are connected to a carrier that does not sell the iPhone.

i use a virtual carrier which uses the infrastructure from another carrier who sells the iPhone, so i don't know about that but maybe thats the reason. or he just didn't activate it in the settings.

at the same time i don't think apple would sell a factory unlocked iPhone, which purpose it is to work with every carrier and then not support facetime - one of the main features of the iPhone4...
