As i just purchase my new i5 base imac 27" (570x) model, now i just want to change it cpu to 9900k?

Are you guys can confirm me that i can change it?

Changing the CPU is often either-or situation. There have been users here who reported that they were successful and others that even if they had same model as Apple uses, it did not boot.

I'm just curious, since I'm on my way to getting an iMac myself, what part is it that you're not happy with the i5? What do you believe will be better / faster?
I'm not very familiar with video terms so if that's the case I'd appreciate if you could just try to explain it in other words for someone that is a non editor/video-guy.

I do of course some people needs faster processors but I'd like to understand such a thing myself before I purchase anything.

Apple told me I could exchange it for 14 days if I wasn't happy with the performance of it, if it's in the same condition it was delivered to me.

If you go to the bottom of this linked thread. There are user reports of successfully upgrading the base 2019 27" iMac to the i9-9900K and 9900KF.
