I'm looking to make calls via data without using any of my anytime minutes for free/low cost. Anyone able to do this on an iphone 4? I have heard about bundling sipgate with google voice (I have google voice currently.) Thanks in advance.

Ok just installed talkatone and I have to say I think it works better than Skype.

When someone calls me on my Google number it kicking to my att number therefore uses att cellular minutes.

Is there a way to prevent this for incoming calls?

Log into your gmail, set your Google Talk preferences to forward your incoming calls to google chat.

    Thanks just did.

It doesn't work with phone prompts such as 'dial 1 for customer service'.

I've been testing this alot to see if this can replace my ATT cellular minutes. I'm not sure if it's ATT 3G network but not getting consistent call quality on 3G. Is it ATT 3G network or GV? And when I make a call it rings and other side doesn't answer.

Actually have been testing google voice app and works excellent. You don't even need a wifi or 3G connection. Since we have a-list I put my google voice number in the a-list. Also allows you free texting. Going to give up or unltd text family plan after more testing.
