Be wayyyyy outdated in say 5-6 more months?
Seems like apple really f'ed up this time with this tiny update.

I mean 3S is already seems more advanced & now Nokia brining it with their upcoming phones. When these new upcoming phones comes out the iphone 5 will seem way outdated.

    Apple need jobs back :(

What's the point of the thread besides to start drama? Either you buy the iPhone 5 now and its outdated in 5 to 6 months, or you buy whatever comes out in 5 to 6 months. It's not that hard, take your bait elsewhere.

Im just saying, The iphone 5 felt outdated before it was even released.
They basically catching up with competition with the 5. Definitely not the usual apple style.

Yeah...all those benchmarks that bring your S3 to it's knees obviously screams outdated.

    This thread is ridiculous.

no one really gives a **** about benchmarks. The phone seems outdated & lack features. There's hardly anything new in the 5.

Ohh it's just faster....that's nothing brah. That's like releaseing a new ps4 and just adding ram & 1 or 2 tiny features...that's what apple did.

    Faster is nothing , really?

Phones pretty much are at peak now. Not much to be added to a nearly perfected phone. (iPhone)

No.. I don't even think it will seem outdated when the 5s/6 comes out next year. I don't understand how smartphones could get any better.

Well, according to the internet you liked the "invisibleSHIELD EXTREME for the iPhone 5 Commercial".

You know you love the iPhones.

But going back to the topic...

    It's just a phone.

Each and every phone will be outdated eventually sooner or later.

Go with whatever phone you'd like, to each their own. You can't just make other people like what you like.

    a REAL redesign
    NFC
    4.5 screen
    Wireless charge
    improved, redesign interfaced

that's what they should have added.

Please close this thread already. I hate idiotic morons like this.

There's no need for a redesign just for the sake of having a redesign. They did redesign the device slightly. There's no need to dramatically change the design when it's already the best design for a mobile device I've ever used.

    There's no need for NFC.

    There's no need for a 4.5" screen. If there was a 4.5" iPhone, I wouldn't use it.

There's no need for wireless charge. Seriously? You're stupid.

A resigned interface isn't needed when the interface is already miles ahead of any Android interface in terms of quality.

Please stop trolling and go do something better with your life. It's seriously pathetic to start an argument for absolutely no reason.

I know Jobs is looked at as a demigod around here but these designs and phone trajectories are decided long before release. Actually the fact that the phone is not wider then the 4s is a trademark Jobs like decision. Apple thinking they know design better than anyone else and being stubborn about its slow incremental upgrades.

Mmm. That comparison doesn't work here. Gaming consoles are released every, what, 5-7 years? A new iPhone comes out each year. Of course gaming consoles should have bigger upgrades.

Do I know you from another forum? Yeah, weren't you the guy saying the Palm Treo was better than Blackberry on a Blackberry forum in 2004? Weren't you the guy saying that the Xbox was better than the PS3 on a Sony forum in 2007?

It seems like I read this same tired crap each year - yellow screens, lousy battery life, rattling, obsololescence, etc. Yawn...

That's why I returned my S III and got the iPhone 5.

    first...

s3 sucks, android is good but iOs's ecosystem is alot better

    second...

nokia lumia 920 is a great phone but wp8 is not, its a good os but no apps.

    so...

iphone 5 will still be number unless iphone 5s came.
