Anyone Else Have Trouble Activating?

    I just got my iPhone 5 and now I can't get it to activate. Support said that they are swamped with activations and that it's the server's fault. Anyone else experiencing this...any solutions other than waiting?

    I'm having trouble convincing Apple my phone is activated...

    Anytime you have a lot of people activating all at once, there are gonna be slowdowns and hiccups. I didn't have any problems this time around but did have to wait an hour or more with my 4S due to the server load.

    I was having this problem and they told me the same thing.

    Wipe your phone and try again from scratch. After 2 tries mine activated instantly. I mean instantly.

    They are just giving that as a simple response to get rid of you.

    You should select "Activate over Cellular" instead of connecting to WiFi if you have the choice. It seems to work better.
