    http://abovethelaw.com/2017/02/ruth-bader-ginsburg-is-fit-as-hell/

Some insight into her exercise routine:

"The strength exercises started with a machine bench press, where Ginsburg normally puts up 70 pounds. From there it was leg curls and leg presses, chest flies and lat pull-downs, all on machines, while stretching the muscle groups being exercised in between sets."

"RBG’s routine has progressed from sit-ups to planks (though she reportedly isn’t a huge fan of the change). Then onto strength workouts for the arms/shoulders followed by leg/hip flexibility moves."

Unlike that Scalia slob who looked less healthy than John Belushi, RBG takes care of herself.

I seriously question the ability of an 83 year old, seemingly 90lb woman benching 70+% of her body weight.

When talking with RBG, she asks the questions, not you.

Yet a seemingly overweight, 70 year old man who laviciously partakes in over-assumption of cholesterol with no real trace of physical activity that does not involve a golf club sitting in the White House gets a pass. Got it.

Maybe she has a more dense body mass than you think... more than someone sitting around losing muscle tone by the day...

The elderly, if they keep active, have some immense strength for their age and body situation. It's rather astounding. Similarly, there are children under the age of 10, who if active through their parents' lifestyle, are also incredibly strong. There's been a lot of research into both extremes.

That juice machine peddler was fit until he passed.

Only after you question the age of Trump, which you also have not done.

Do you have reading comprehension problems? Why would I question his age in a thread about an article written about Ginsburgs workout routine?

I didn't say anything about Scalia that is disagreeable. He was not healthy, he basically sweat crisco.

Regarding the friendship - lawyers like to debate. They don't lose that when they become judges. In law school, I went to every Federalist Society meeting and event, and was friends with all in that group. We disagreed on lot of things, and on a lot of things those folks are wrong wong wrong. Yet we still got beers after class as friends.

Just because they were friends, does not mean she also didn't think Scalia was wrong wrong wrong on most things.

Agreed, something the American public should strive to learn how to do again.

well, it would be 600% of his body-weight (which would be a svelte 185). His sweat would also cure Cancer. Spicer's firing up the talking-points right now...

You never know... this happened: http://abc11.com/news/biggest-loser-host-suffers-heart-attack-at-nyc-gym/1777217/

On a serious note, I wish RBG well. I am glad she keeps healthy.

Yea, I think heart-related issues are near the top of things that worry me, especially as a male. I've seen someone in great health and fitness my age die way too young with absolutely no warning from a heart aneurysm. I've seen a 50-year old co-worker, who was a very healthy triathloner, die in his office from a sudden heart attack. Both were lean and athletic, no excess fat, and health diets. That stuff is scary.

Yeah it's scary... I had open heart surgery at 17... I am pretty sure that I know what will be my natural cause of death.

Ruth as her friend might chastise you for just looking at the physical aspect of him.......................
I would have NO PROBLEMS meeting any of you for a drink, although it would have to be a pepsi on my end as I rarely drink. :p

Dr. Pepper or Coke Zero for me.
