Anyone here not able to sign into Apple TV or their iTunes a Account

    Apple TV is giving me an error message. I thrived to sign into my iTunes account on my phone and getting the same error.

    Yeah, me too. Based on all the posts on Apple's discussion boards this is happening to many people. Although, it does seem isolated to iTunes as my ID works everywhere else that it should. I haven't been able to log in since yesterday afternoon. Some people have contacted customer support and not really gotten anywhere, proposed solutions that didn't work.

    Have had problems in the past with the authentication servers being temporarily down. For instance, if you have Home Sharing turned on it's ok, but if you turn it off you can't turn it back on again until the servers come back up. Pretty annoying, especially in that case when you just want to stream your content locally, you shouldn't be dependant on an external server being available.

    Experienced the same issue lastnight too. magically started working before midnight.

    There was a article about this on the MacRumors homepage yesterday.
