It might just be a police officer trying to sell his own personal computer.
Lemme just say this:
Sure yeah I'm sure that's probably what it is with no power cord or anything it's some jerk that doesn't want to get ripped off because everybody gets robbed off craigslist in that area
Why wouldn't he have the power cord ? That and it appears to be password protected.
It does appear that it could be stolen.
Would be odd for him to pin code lock it through Find My iDevice then. The screen shows the 4 digit pin code lock being activated.
Yup. It just may be a simple thing as the police there selling off stuff that wasn't claimed.
BECAUSE ITS STOLEN !!!! And he doesn't want to get robbed so many people around Detroit insist on meeting at police stations so they don't get robbed. Even the crooks
Are you saying some guy is selling a stolen laptop at a police station ?
Kind of dumb isn't it ?
What a wonderful place!
You apparently have never visited our fine city of Detroit
Nope. But my mother was born there. Does that count ?

FYI: Black Friday in Detroit:
The last time I was in Detroit was in '08 i was going to pickup a bike from from a gentleman in Dearborn. I came into the city from the west side and it really was a ghost town..
Downtown had improved greatly especially along the waterfront but the change wasn't as drastic as my "hometown" or Kalamazoo or Grand Rapids. I have faith that Detroit will return to its former grandeur but it's going to take a while.
Cool of the OP to post this though. Looks stolen and I bet if you met him, he would not want to go INSIDE the police station, just wants to meet outside so he looks legit.
I almost pissed myself
thats a pretty lazy thief...
