I noticed that the "Workouts" fitness data in the Health App displays the duration of the workouts and nothing about the distance, pace, etc of your runs. You have to navigate to "Show All Data" and look at the detailed entry for each workout to see the distance, pace, average heart rate, etc. This is probably because "Workouts" encompasses all kinds of activities, not just running. I've been a Strava user for the past year, but I've switched to the Workout App after receiving my Apple Watch. And I miss not being able to easily see my weekly mileage. I wanted to learn a bit more about the HealthKit SDK, so I thought I'd kill two bird with one stone and write an app that displays my weekly running stats. It's very crude, displaying weekly and daily running stats with ability to share this info via email, Facebook, Twitter, etc (whatever your share option is set to on your iPhone). It's been very useful for me. If anyone out there would find this useful, I'd be willing to polish it up and put it up on the App Store.
