Anyone know if you can plug in Thunderbolt 1 or 2 to new rMBP?

    For $50....that is another kick in nuts from Apple today regarding their outrageous prices!

    But it's bi-directional! So that's like two $25 adapters in one!

    Whatever. I'm happy paying that $50 bucks if it means my laptop is 25% smaller than the previous generation. Gotta save room somehow.

    That's great as long as it suits your needs. I spent a premium on a number of thunderbolt devices over the years and feel like I have to pay even more to use my products that were expensive to begin with. I realize that technology is always moving forward and I knew it would require an adapter. I just didn't think it would be as expensive as it turned out to be.
