I'm still having a lot of stream drops and pages load slow in Safari. My WiFi signal is solid. Also, I tried Chrome and pages load fast with that. Thoughts?

It's quite amazing seeing people having these issues, even on the MacBook, but not me. Odd.

Yep I just started noticing this. I need a stable phone so when 8.1.1 comes out I think I'm just going to update and lose my jailbreak :(

I thought it would be fixed with 8.1. We'll have to see if 8.1.1 fixes it before I give up my JB

I thought of doing this, but my 5 worked fine on my WiFi as is. I didn't want to mess with it. Guess we'll have to wait till there's an 8.1.1 jailbreak. Maybe... finally, Apple will work out whatever bug is causing this.

I sure hope so. Just wanted to find out if I was alone with this issue.

Lots of funky stuff going on with 8.1

    1. It keeps saying my 5 GHz wifi password is incorrect even though I KNOW it's correct. I changed my wifi password and then the iPhone accepts it.

    2. Random connection freezing on 5 GHz.

    3. Eventual slow wifi connection which requires me switching wifi off and on.

    4. 2.4 GHz seems to work fine but max speed is slow.

2.4 max speed 40mbit down 5 ghz when working tops out at 120 mbit

Have you tried changing the channel on the 5 ghz band? I had a similar problem (and also found that 2.4 ghz band was working better) and changed it from auto to 149. Haven't had a problem yet.
