Anyone think Rahm Emanuel has a chance in Chicago?

    If it's factually correct that he rented his house and moved the whole family to D.C. upon his appointment, he's not been a resident of Chicago for over a year.

    It could be that some other candidate might challenge him as to eligibility--which would be chuckle on the evening news...

    Clearly it would be a bad thing for
    chicago to elect a mayor who was connected with the President of the United States.

    No, I don't think he has a chance.

    He needs to be ingrained into Chicago politics for a long time to allow people to know who he was. Being a House Rep for only 5 years, most Chicagoans didn't hear of him until Obama came on the scene.

    Also, he might have a hard time proving he is a "Chicagoan" to run. Where is his residence? Last I checked, he can't even move back to his place.
