I am thinking of getting one. From all the reviews I have read it is better and cheaper than the Bowflex.

Any pesonal experiences with either of these workout machines?

Thanks,

Frisco

I tried my friends bowflex and felt a little burn. I like my set up though - two 45 lbs dumbells, curlbar and bench. The rest are just situps, pushups, and lunges (sp?)

I have the Crossbow and use it almost every day, as does my boyfriend. We love it. Keep in mind you can only add so much weight to it so if your looking into heavy weight-lifting (extreme body-building) you might want to look elsewhere.

Thanks for your opinion!

The Crossbow is now the Crossbar. They have removed the "bows."

The Crossbar allows additional weight to be added--I think. But even if not, the 260 lbs of resistance that it comes with will be more than I can handle.

Thanks again,
