I see the iOS6 update on my 4S, but a little hesitant due to a couple of threads regarding issues. Is it recommended to wait or just install it and hope for the best? Thanks.

DO NOT UPGRADE! I REPEAT, DO NOT UPGRADE! I lost the ability to connect to wifi and am currently on the phone with Apple to resolve it.

My wifi works fine with ios6. I killed my battery pretty quick playing so its hard to judge battery but everything seems to work well.
Not sure what value you think you will lose other than the ability to jailbreak for awhile

Just double check you have a backup of your device before you go for it.

I updated our iPads earlier, the iPad 3 updated without a hitch but my iPad 2 failed the update and went into recovery mode. I panicked until I remembered I have a backup from a month ago.

I've since restored and both devices are running fine (apart from a slow App Store which I assume will get resolved soon)

I will d/l it tomorrow but won't install it until I get my iP5 next week. I just want to make sure there aren't any major issues beyond the WiFi hiccup tonight.

I just did 3 hours ago i think,on my 4s, iPad3 and iPod Touch...
So far no problem like a few are having...
