From what I read, the only difference between last years maxed out BTO and this year is M395X instead of M295X. Same 4 gb of gpu memory and same 4.0 GhZ CPU. And from what I read the M395X is just a rebranding of 295. So what's new except being able to bosst it up to 64gb of ram if you buy your own ram?

Anyone know what other benefits there are?

Better color display, faster SSD, Skylake CPU, better graphics cards, new mouse, new Keyboard, and new track-pad..........a lot of information out there, just read up on it.

    It's a 1-year refresh.........not a redesign.

Ok thanks, I have read what you mention, but I was curious if there were anything I missed since I felt the update was very minor (isnt it allowed to ask if anyone has any opinions info worth mentioning apart from the standard news updates?) I have not read anything about faster SSD - and if the GPU is nearly the same, its not worth the upgrade from the previous BTO iMac. color gamut is interesting though.

    thanks
