Just wondering if there are any distinguishing characteristics that the Nike watch has that others don’t, assuming you aren’t using the Nike face or bands.
Nothing to do with any of that for me. I liked the Nike band, which of course you can buy separately, and I also like the fact that I got more faces in more colors on the Nike version than I would have on the non-Nike version, for the exact same price. I really do like several of the Nike faces, so for me, it was a no brainer. There is nothing special about the Nike branding on the Apple Watch. Some people just like to promote and show off Nike.
Now that mention it, a lot of people tended to gravitate to Nike because the bands at the time, could only be gotten with the watch. Now that that aspect has changed, the face niche buyer may have gotten smaller as well.Nothing to do with any of that for me. Same here and of course the band is a nice bonus. It is odd though that just to get some extra watch faces you have to buy a different version. When I purchased my first AW S2 I went with a Nike because it had more faces.
