    I'm just worried of complacency.

"Obama is obviously going to win, he doesn't need my vote too." Some conservatives may be disheartened, but others will rally to stop a Democrat from getting into the WH.

I don't know about elsewhere, but here in the Chi, voter turnout for early voting was insane. We had nearly 800,000 early voters. A woman I was in line with told me that for every presidential election she can remember in Chicago since there's been broad early voting, it took about five to ten minutes to do it. I was there on the final day of early voting for two hours. Chicago looks to be well on track for record turnout this election.

Well I know one Republican that will not be voting for McCain, because he is sure McCain will loose.

You do know for the past 5 elections, the person ahead in the polls have lost?

Completely false. In the 2000 elections, Gore was ahead but just in the error of margin. In 2004, Bush was ahead in polls by 3-5% and he didn't lose. In 1996, Clinton was way ahead in polls and he won. So I don't know what fake facts you just came up with right now.

Here is the 1996 polls taken by gallup: http://library.law.columbia.edu/urlmirror/CLR/100CLR524/ptpreselec.html

I'll find the 2000 and the 2004 too.

EDIT: Here are my facts: http://www.gallup.com/poll/110548/Gallup-Presidential-Election-TrialHeat-Trends-19362004.aspx

So I proved my facts. Where in the world did you get yours, I wonder? Even for the past 8 elections, polls have generally correctly proven the outcome.

Looking at Gallup, Bush was just ahead in 2004:

    Bush ahead again in 2000:

    Clintion ahead in 96:

Need I go on? IIRC Reagan in 1980 was the only one to make a comeback after being behind in the polls.

Given that people have proven this claim to be wrong - would you care to retract it and apologise for lying?

No, he'll probably repeat it: that's how propaganda works.

Nearly everything he says gets proven to be a lie, he just ignores it and posts some other lie in a different thread. And so on and so forth.
