Aperture books question

Hi,

Can anyone tell me, in their experience, what the best resolution and file format is to use for the Apple Aperture books.

I was thinking 600DPI, TIFF files although I hear the software uses 300 DPI jpg (but it will convert the files to this format automatically).

I look forward to any opinions...
