Does anyone leave theirs plugged in all the time? I've ordered a pair of Adam A7s, and will be connecting them to my mac via the Duet. Are there any complications to leaving the duet's firewire cable plugged in all the time? Overheating? Starting up garageband? Starting up Logic Express? Thanks. :)

I leave mine plugged in - while the unit gets slightly warm while in use, I really doubt it is hot enough to effect the reliability - in fact, you are probably better off leaving it powered on than shutting it off & on all the time. It really is a trouble free piece of gear. I have not had one issue with it in Logic or as a general audio interface with iTunes.

Wow, I too obtained the A7's with the Duet in December. I leave the Duet plugged in and turn the speakers off when I'm not using them!

Well the A7s arrived this weekend. Just incredible. They pair up great with the duet.
