As my thread title explains, i have a 1.1.4 jailbroken ipod touch and they both don't work...
just use meebo you dummies
Add source: http://twenty08.com/installer and scroll down to the category "twenty08" and install the new MobileChat. It's much better than the old version and you can also tip the iPod sideways and type on a larger keyboard.
I do, at the moment, but i would like a better solution
going to do that..
I have the new mobile messenger and imfix but it still wont work on 1.1.4. It just stays at the connecting screen
You don't need IMFix to use the newest MobileChat found in http://twenty08.com/installer source.
meebo is the best solution
It works!! thanks..
Maybe you think that, but IM chat is better IMO
you are wrong
Why am I wrong? Everybody has its personal choice. And I like IM chat more...
i think you should just shut up and use meebo dot com what the hell is wrong with you
Those are the best Safari Chat Webapps (in that order)
But, I've never had the *NEW* MobileChat.app crash on my jailbroken iPod touch.
the only one worth using in that list is meebo
You don't have to be rude to me, everybody know you prefer meebo. But I still prefer IM chat. And what do this have to do with our discussion?
I think you should just shut up and get out of the thread
How about everyone with an anime avatar get out of this thread.
I think everyone should just the up for sakes!
Aww, boo hoo. Someone dares to challenge your Meebo fetish? Cry me a river. The guy asked for help with an IM client and you douches insult him for not using Meebo. Try being helpful instead of belittling the guy who's asking for advice.
On that subject, though, you should download the newest MobileChat at the repository that someone supplied above. It's worlds better than Apollo and it works like a charm with 1.1.4.
Well, I did. It works fantastic, although I prefer the looks of Apollo. And there isn't a way to see people's avatar or full nickname in Mobile Chat, or is there?
You know, I'm really not sure. It is a simpler app than Apollo. You may want to go to their website and leave the suggestions for future versions, as it's actually under active development, unlike Apollo.
Doing it right now...
Wow you're pretty butthurt about someone picking up on your anime avatar. ^_____________^
