Anyone with a 23 inch display having any problems with it? I'm having really small dots in dark areas of the screen. If i open quicktime or FCP 4 or unreal anthing that is really dark or black on on screen in any app, even if desktop picture is dark.

Dark dots on a colored background are dead pixels.

Colored spots on a black screen are stuck-on pixels.

Basically a fact of life with LCDs, though there's a limit on how many anyone should put up with.

If it's more than a single pixel (clumps of them) take it in for a swap.

Wait a bit and somebody will probably say...

"It sounds like your graphics card is overheating."

Some of the ATI card heatsinks weren't quite on square, usually on the ATI 9800.

Though some people did have this problem using dual monitors with the ATI9800. Sometimes requiring a heatsink upgrade to a better unit.
