The most embarrassing iPhone Apple made. I remember 5s and 5c side by side and couldn't believe both came from the same company. I bet Apple regrets it now. And the crocs case was just the cherry on top.
Why do you think the 8+ was the worst iPhone? To be fair it had really cool colours though. I’m so glad they did the XR. I feel that will age much better but only the 5C and XR had such stunning coloursss
as for the worst iPhone ever, that would probably be the 8 plus lol
Was that a particular issue just related to 5/5s model line for some reason? Seems like Apple didn't run into that with 4/4s, 6/6s, etc.Apple couldn't make enough iPhone 5 cases, so when the 5s was coming out, there was no way they could make enough 5s and 5's at the same time.
Wow, has it only been 6 years since Apple were releasing new iPhones with 8GB storage options?
They are also not fans of punchcards.
I am still mad that I cannot use my Macintosh SE/30 in 2020! Come on, Apple!
Ah Johnny Ive's - Unapologetically Plastic
It wasn’t at flagship price. It was at the usual $100 less that the regular iPhone 5 would’ve been priced. It followed the usual trend as the previous years.Probably the worst iPhone ever, putting on it a 1-year old chip at almost flagship price at the time was a weird move.
5S was wayyyy better for not so much more money
And now we have $999 plastic Note 20. ?Ahh the 5c...when making phones out of “cheap and s****y plastic” suddenly became ok!
Curious what about the 8 plus you consider makes it the worstTo be fair it had really cool colours though. I’m so glad they did the XR. I feel that will age much better but only the 5C and XR had such stunning coloursss

This is a horrible little phone. It wasn't even an upgrade. They literally just took an old phone and put a plastic casing on it and then resold it a year later.Such a great little phone.. They really should have made this the SE line.
It wasn't meant to be an upgrade, but just a way to keep on selling the previous model phone (iPhone 5) after the new model came out, similar to how it's basically always done (just in that particular case the outer case of the previous model was changed). This is a horrible little phone.
