Doesn't bother me one way or another, I don't even relate the shows I watch with the commercials that air anyways.

This won't have any effect except for lowering apple's presence on the news airwaves... people aren't watching cnn or msnbc.

I Cans Also Capitalize random Words And Type with Poor grammar On The Evils of FOXNEWZ :D

Kidding aside, who cares? With ratings head and shoulders above any other cable news network, I doubt Fox News is concerned in the slightest.

I'm sure Fox News cares about Apple's boycott about as much as Apple cares about MacRumors complaints about delays in MacBook Pro new model release.

While you may be right (hahahaha pun intended) about FN not caring...eventually someone needs to make them money.
Exactly- at some point Fox has to do something. If advertisers keep taking off, they won't have the cash to continue wack jobs like Beck anymore.

Believe me, Fox cares about losing advertisers and money.

They could/should send Beck packing. He does a dis-service to conservatives and republicans, making us all seem like goof-ball-tin-hat-wearing-moonbats.

Listening to his radio show is like listening to a sermon, its terrible. His theme music IS pretty sweet though.

Also, the man should be required to complete a psychiatric evaluation.

How exactly does a company boycott a cable news channel and what good is it really doing?

Advertising? Does Apple even run ads on FNC?

Interesting. His views differ from yours; He MUST be mentally unbalanced... Lets have the state lock him up perhaps?

Never mind the fact that he gets paid millions of dollars to share his views with millions of people, while you on the other hand, do not

You're starting off the wrong way on this forum.

As a registered republican, I can say, without a doubt, he is mentally unbalanced. He's a loon.

Yeah, as if having a viewership somehow legitimizes Beck's hateful, bigoted, and ill-conceived points.

Regardless of the politics and boycotts, I can't be the only one who thinks this is a wise business move.

Spend your advertising dollars where you might get results. Which network do you think has more intelligent, educated, and technically savvy viewers:

FoxNews or CNN?

FoxNews or NBC/ABC/CBS?

FoxNews or PBS?

Odds are Apple gets far less bang for its buck investing in advertising on FoxNews. If they offered a gold-plated mac, they might sell more.

(edit) Interesting tidbit... FoxNews also has older viewers compared to other stations....

According to a study released by Magna Global’s Steve Sternberg, the five broadcast nets’ average live median age (in other words, not including delayed DVR viewing) was 50 last season. That’s the oldest ever since Sternberg started analyzing median age more than a decade ago — and the first time the nets’ median age was outside of the vaunted 18-49 demo…

Among ad-supported cable nets, the news nets (along with older-skewing Hallmark Channel, Golf Channel and GSN’s daytime sked) sport the most gray, with Fox News Channel’s daytime and primetime skeds the absolute oldest, clocking in with a median age above 65. (Emphasis added.)

By the way, MSNBC’s “Countdown with Keith Olbermann” does the best in cable news primetime among the most desirable younger demographic, but according to numbers from last season, the average “Countdown” viewer is 59 years old, and 55 percent of its audience is male.

Umm...no- people are entitled to different views. However, when you say the things he does, that are so far out of any possible reality, one has to wonder about his sanity. ;) Who said anything about locking him up?

And you could lighten up a bit. Laughter is good for the soul. :)

Maybe read what I wrote earlier.

"They could/should send Beck packing. He does a dis-service to conservatives and republicans, making us all seem like goof-ball-tin-hat-wearing-moonbats."

And I was merely referencing leekohlers suggestion "Also, the man should be required to complete a psychiatric evaluation."

Thanks for the tips though. And congrats on being a registered republican:rolleyes:

While I don't agree with your sentiment, smart people can watch Fox News also... one could argue that the republicans are more wealthy and willing to buy the latest gadgetry to keep up with their friends. An iPad/iPod isn't exactly a hard device to use...

FoxNews or PBS? I don't believe PBS runs ads.
