I guess The update to OS x will be named OS 10.1.4. I am downloading IE 5.1.4 now.
isn't 5.1.4 what's available now....or is it 5.1.3??
It's currently 5.1.3.
Its just a security fix there is no new features
I wish they would have anti-aliasing for text
then I would adore IE
I've seen pics of 10.2 with IE anti-aliased. In fact it seemed as though all Carbon apps might have had it available.
And then maybe they'll add an option to turn it all off via control panels.
We can only hope.
Why would you want to turn it off it looks great
oh wait I forgot
Or really good vision...
I have about 20/8 vision, and a 2 LCD, 1 CRT monitor setup.
Anti aliasing is just horrible to look at in smaller font sizes on either LCD, and pretty bad on the CRT. It just looks muddy...
I think there are a few reasons people would want to turn it off. But the biggest reason for me is that I simply want more customization. Give me more options Apple!!!
Hey, if Burger King can lets people "Have it their way," I think Apple can figure it out.
