Has anyone tried recycling their old iphones to apple?
Do you mean trade-in (for value) or recycle (donation)?
And do you mean in-store or online?
Did it yesterday. Super simple, walked into the store, all you need is the phone and if it's in good condition - for a 16GB 4S I got $204 that went towards a 32GB 5S so only ended up paying $106 with the upgrade pricing. Definitely recommend it.
online but i didn't know you could do it by going to the store and do a trade in. i'm actually leaving at&t and moving over to sprint. that's why i asked about it.
you gotta be kidding - i asked for a trade in with my mint condition no scratches, perfect iphone 5 32GB and they gave me $208 quote.
you're getting $204 for an iPhone 4S 16GB? which apple store is this? I will call them and confirm your price.
I think it helps the value if you use a gold sharpie on the bevels!
Then it's better than "excellent", it's "gold" and gold is best. Best. Best. Best.
I'm sorry but I could not resist!
(to add content to my post, I was offered $204 for a white att 64gb 4S on launch day, which matched the gazelle quote)
I too want to know which store... I was only offered 253 for my iPhone 5 64gb. I ended up selling it on CL
Wow you guy's got $204 for a 2 year old 4S?
I tried trading in a Mint AT&T 16GB Black 5, and they only offered me $101.60 at the Apple Store in Las Vegas, NV
