I'm not really surprised, but good for Apple.
Cool find, op.
Interesting. I like the perspective. Comes as no surprise, though.
A big share of those apps are free, which is fairly important part of the equation. Last time I checked, McDonald's doesn't give out free burgers.
I'm sure if McDonalds gave away free burgers...
Also apps won't kill you like burgers.
I'd like to be able to download a big mac.
Just make sure you don't spontaneously upload it.
Many of them are the same quality as McDonald's hamburgers.
Then you'd better stay away from here:
Great perspective. Good for an afternoon chuckle.
The android market is like a Salmonella-infested Mexican burrito compared to the app store.
Is the article using "hamburgers" to mean ALL McDonald's burgers, or just the actual cheap "Hamburger" that it sells? Stats can say anything if you're not careful...
I think they mean all Mcdonalds burgers.
I'm not an Android fanboy either. I'm rational.
If the statistics were based on the number of paid apps sold per unit time it'd be a lot more valid of a comparison.
It doesn't matter, all McDonald's burgers are bad.
lol. With iOS6 maybe?
+1 Plus vegetarians and people who like you know real hamburgers might eat elsewhere. At least you got plenty of good apps both free and paid on the app store. Including cooking apps and weight loss apps.
Edit: OMG there's a McD app for our friends in the UK!
There are a lot of good apps in the app store too.
