Apple Pay only issued by financial institutions in 11 countries ... that's some world-wide acceptance, huh?

NO RUSH to get Apple Pay in Germany 'cause nobody's buying iPhones in that country anyway

To be fair Dediu is usually pretty bullish on Apple which is exactly what this analysis is. But wouldn't good analysis also include potential risks? Where is the next trillion going to come from?
"To be fair"? Seeing Asymco deals with real numbers and uses actual real mathematics (as opposed to math, which is not a real word - the abbreviation is maths) to analyse trends comparing competing players before and after iPhone, it's funny you would be using a homily like "to be fair" to begin a statement, when you mean the polar opposite. Much like when people begin by saying "to be honest". That immediately suggests that weren't being honest previously, and actually means they are about to be even less honest.

They've certainly created a whole new economy which employs millions.
No they haven't. That's just you using facts to push your own point of view. What matters is how people feel. And apparently what they "feel" seems to be pretty effing stupid.

What an incredibly worthless statistic ... JUST more rhetoric from Apple's Chief Hoodwinker Cook. The banks are just starting to issue chip and pin cards (not contactless pay cards) so AP is the only game in the US ... the merchant uptake of contactless POS terminals is slower than molasses at -50 degrees.

That knockout Apple Pay is hardly world wide with financial institutions in ONLY 11 countries signed on after 2 years since Apple offered the service.

Folks, don't get fooled by bull in the china shop data from the ecosystem.
Damn. You should have told me earlier. Nooooooooooooo.......

Yet, they are not able to create good hardware or update any of the old computers... Mac mini, Mac Pro, iMac, etc....
So soon, you will use the Apple ecosystem from a windows machine...

The reason iOS on the iPad doesn't have a file system goes back to Steve jobs. This is one of the not so rare instances in which cook is continuing to follow jobs leads and gets criticism.

I would think Apple with its 60,000 employees is capable of multi-tasking, just not the way YOU want them to.

I don't blame Cook for iOS's lack of a Finder.
