Because it's probably to far along the order since its about to be shipped. Mine still says processing order. So you're one step closer than me.

When did you order it? I ordered an Unlocked 32GB 5S at 3:09AM. Nothing yet.

At 3:02 AM. Note that from past experience, it doesn't always go out in first come first serve order. A lot of times they do a bunch of the same model at a time.

Here is another little tibit I learned from another thread. If you use the "Delivery Status Touch" app and use your Apple order id and e-mail address, it will show where your is being processed on the map. I don't know where in the feed the app gets this info because apple doesn't show it on thir order details page. It may be inaccurate for all I know. I live in NY and it shows that the phone is in Ohio right now.

Mine also shows Ohio. I have a feeling it is guessing. Although there are workarounds every year they may know of. Last year you could look up you tracking number with the carrier and your order number before you ever got the shipment email.

Can you tell if it's UPS or FedEx?

I also ordered a 32gb AT&T Space grey at 3:01am Eastern and I'm still at Processing. So it doesn't seem to be exactly in order.

They often go by model and region. The carriers will tell them to process X phones for the East Coast, etc.

Can you go to: http://wwwapps.ups.com/WebTracking/track?loc=en_US and try to look up you tracking number by billing phone number (with and without dashes) and your Apple order number...as a reference.

Edit: Also check FedEx just in case: https://www.fedex.com/fedextrack/

So far, seems like it's just 32GB Space Gray phones that are preparing for shipment.

My family has three gold 64GB's coming. The one preparing to ship was ordered at 12:03 using my Apple ID. The two processing were ordered at 12:02 and 12:04 using my wife's Apple ID.

I tried tracking by reference for both Fedex and UPS but no go yet. Maybe later it will show up.

That's what I ordered and mine isn't yet. But they probably go by region as UPS needs them to load the planes.

Thanks. If you can try again later or tomorrow AM...many people would be very happy to find out which way works. Last year many people (including myself) had phones in hand before AT&T's system even showed they had shipped. That's unlikely to happen with Apple but you never know.
