AirPlay 2:
  • Receive only: Device can only receive AirPlay 2 signal from the iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Cannot stream to AirPlay 2 speakers, such as HomePod.
  • Yes: Device can both receive and transmit (e.g., audio) to other AirPlay 2 devices.
  • AirPlay 2 supports 4k Dolby Vision and HDR10 when playing Apple TV+ and iTunes Stores contents. Audio is limited to Dolby Digital.
