Has anyone had any issues with connecting their apple watch with this new update? I went to setup a new apple watch, worked, then noticed it wasn’t connected to my phone dispite it being connected on bluetooth. Repaired all of it, and the same thing happens a few minutes later saying phone disconnected. Apple Support stated the issue must be with my IOS version (18.1), but that doesn’t make much sense to me. Has anyone else had these issues on 18.1? Any suggestions if so?

Did you read the release notes of the beta in feedback, maybe there is something in it that says there is a issue with connecting a watch to your iPhone running it.

Why doesn’t that make much sense to you?
You know you are running beta software? Non supported beta software?

So the statement of Apple support is totally legit.

Revert back to released iOS 18.0 and try again. Easy, as you surely do have a backup handy that you made before installing the beta software :)
