Apple Watch was strongly recommended by my dialysis team

A few people where I go for my dialysis assessments are Apple people. It was suggested I get an Apple Watch *just* for the fact that it can perform bp, pulse, O2 saturation and basic ekg.

Now, if I can only get a doctor to write a prescription for an ‘indwelling biological parameter determination device’ I can get it as a legitimate medical deduction 😎

Even if I couldn’t get a deduction, a 60 hour battery life is sufficient for me.

To be clear, the Apple Watch can't do blood pressure.

Any biological data that I can provide to my dialysis team just by wearing a watch (almost 24/7 except for charging) has always been a selling point.

I understand that bp isn't currently included. Perhaps my inner expectation. It will come to the AW. And so will more sensors, including potassium, phosphorus and sodium. The O2 sensor is a killer feature for me. I take the haemoglobin stimulating Lance Armstrong cheater hormone b/c I'm anemic b/c of the kidneys. They always do my O2's when I come in for a visit, but they'd like to see the variation in between weekly injections. That is something that can tailor the frequency and strength of the injections.

What always held me back was the battery life. 60 hours at maximum battery life is acceptable
