Note, I'm not talking about the sleek thin aluminum wireless keyboards, I'm talking about the slightly older bluetooth model that looks like this:

We turn it on with the little switch on the bottom, but the green light doesn't come on, and the computer can't detect the keyboard at all. A change of batteries did not solve the problem. Any ideas?
 
You did make sure you installed the batteries with the terminals facing in the correct direction? If you swapped with a fresh set of batteries but it still fails to power on, the keyboard itself must be replaced.
