Application like "Grab" for recording movies of desktop activity?

I use the Grab app to take screenshots all the time. I'm wondering if there is an application for recording mpgs or Quicktimes of desktop activity... like if you wanted to make a tutorial about Pro Tools and have it record a movie of whatever is happening on your screen.

Naturally, I could just point a video camera at the screen, but there's got to be an app for this, no?

Screenflow is the best video capture app (but is also made for pros, and is definitely priced for pros). Snaps Pro X is also pretty good, and is a little less expensive.
