My ipod touch 3g was dropped in some water for a couple of seconds- after restoring successfully i noticed random apps opening up and closing on their own without touching icon on main menu. screen looks great with power up and restore working fine. It just acts possessed once main menu appears. Any help would be appreciated. dougxxii

What timeframe are we talking about here; i.e. how long ago did this happen? If you turned on your iPod < 1 week after liquid exposure you're probably making the issue worse because it could be shorting out circuits on the board. Even if it's been > 1 week and "everything else" seems to be fine, the fact that it's been exposed to liquid could account for any number of weird symptoms that are unnatural on a fully functional iPod touch.
